Regulations for the Authors

• Policy of scientific publication at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan requires that all research works submitted for publication at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Journal for Human and Social Studies undergo the following criteria concerning the authors:
• Instructions for Researchers • General Guidelines Researchers should be aware of the journal's instructions and policies when submitting their research for review in Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Journal for Human and Social Studies, as follows: 1. Observing the scientific principles of writing solid research, in terms of: correct language, punctuation marks, and the structure of research based on adherence to the instructions contained under the provisions of: (Publishing Instructions: Formatting, Division, and citation, and How to Include Sources and References) specific to the journal. 2. Sending an electronic copy of the research/manuscript in Word format to the email address of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Journal for Human and Social Studies: (zjjhss@zuj.edu.jo). 3. Submitting two abstracts: one in Arabic and the other in English or French for research papers written in French. Each abstract should not exceed 200 words. The abstracts should include the title of the study first, followed by a summary thereof, followed by its key words. 4. avoiding any mention to the researcher's name or reference thereto in the text of the research, to preserve the confidentiality and objectivity of the reviewing process. 5. Submitting a written declaration to the journal stating that the research will not be submitted or published in a book or journal affiliated with another academic institution. 6. Completing the official form on the journal's website, including a request to publish the research, in accordance with the research requirements of the Deanship of Research and Innovation at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan. 7. Completing the Copyright Transfer Form and sending it to the Deanship of Research and Innovation at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan after the research is accepted for publication. 8. Paying the financial costs incurred during the reviewing process, should the researcher request to withdraw his research or wish not to proceed further in the reviewing procedures. 9. Original research works that reach the journal will not be returned, whether published or not. 10. The editorial board of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Journal for Human and Social Studies may withdraw a research paper/manuscript if it finds conclusive evidence of plagiarism or theft, or if it is proven to contain misleading or unreliable information with the aim of insulting or the like, or if any unethical behavior is later discovered in the research, or if it publishes research that was originally published. The researcher, as a consequence, bears the fees for its review, and he is not permitted to submit it for publication in the journal again. 11. The research, or parts thereof, may not be published elsewhere after its publication in Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Journal for Human and Social Studies has been approved, except after obtaining written permission from the Editor-in-Chief. 12. A sum of (100) dollars or its equivalent in Jordanian dinars shall be collected for the research accepted for publication in the journal, after being notified of the research's acceptance and before receiving the publication letter. 13. The researcher is responsible for submitting their research to a linguistic expert, ensuring that it is free of linguistic and formal errors. 14. The researcher may obtain electronic copies of his research from the journal's website. • Journal Discontinuation If the journal ceases publication or issuance- for any reason- its website remains available to any researcher, who wishes to access the journal's archive. • Responsible Researcher If the research involves more than one researcher, the following must be taken into account: 1. The research team must appoint a responsible member to act on their behalf throughout the submission, review, and publication process. 2. Ensuring that participating researchers are included in the list of researchers and appear according to the agreed-upon order. 3. The responsible researcher must communicate with the journal's editorial board and respond to their comments and requests. 4. The final version is sent to the responsible researcher upon acceptance of the research work. 5. The responsible researcher is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the research copy, including the names and contact details of the authors: their specific specializations, email addresses, and place of work. 6. The responsible researcher is the contact person with the editorial board for inquiries after publication. • Conflicting Interests Researchers must disclose any: 1. Potential conflicts of interest, including: a- Sources of research funding (financial support, equipment, or materials). b- The role of funders or sponsors in the design, implementation, and presentation of the research. c- Any financial or non-financial interests that may influence the interpretation of the results. 2. Editorial or review relationship related to the journal.
• 1. Compliance with the regulations included under (Conditions of Publication) at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Journal for Human and Social Studies: (Regulations of Publication, Formatting, Organization, Citation and Bibliography (Sources & References) Preparation).
• . Compliance with honesty by adhering to the internationally-recognized research code of conduct and ethical requirements of publication, and avoidance of all forms of unethical behavior like plagiarism, fabrication, falsification and facts distortion.
• Notifying the Journal via a written undertaking confirming that the research in question was not previously submitted or published in a book or journal pertaining to another scientific institution and that the research is original and not drawn from the researcher's MA or PhD dissertations.
• Sending a brief CV (in Arabic and English).
• Sending the research title, author(s') name, postal addresses, email accounts, place of work, country in an independent page without showing the researcher's name or reference thereto inside the research in order to guarantee confidential and objective evaluation.
• Transferring copyright to the journal upon the research acceptance to be published therein by way of filling a Copyright Transfer Form and sending it to Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan's Deanship of Research and Innovation.
• 7. Notifying the Journal on any mistake concerning her/his published work, to be corrected or withdrawn.
